Pentaho Adds Best-in-Class Data Mining - the Weka Project!

Pentaho is excited to announce the latest addition to the Pentaho Open BI Suite, the Weka Project! Weka is an open source data mining and predictive analytics package, developed by the University of Waikato in New Zealand.

Pentaho’s acquisition of the Weka project is the latest chapter in a series of initiatives designed to accelerate the development of best-in-class, integrated open source BI projects. Weka is a natural fit with Pentaho, adding data mining capabilities to the broad range of business intelligence features that the suite already provides, such as ETL, reporting, OLAP and analysis features.

Effective immediately, the Weka project is downloadable from http://www.pentaho.org/download/latest as well as from http://sourceforge.net/projects/weka/ under the GNU General Public License. In addition, Pentaho has launched the first-ever live forum for interaction among Weka project community members at http://forums.pentaho.org/.

Pentaho Fall 2006 Partner Seminar Series; Community Invited!

Pentaho Data Integration Training Offered in Germany, November 13th - 15th
