Pentaho News: Stable Build Release 1.1.6 Now Available

Platform Stable Build Release 1.1.6 Available

We are happy to announce another stable build release of the Pentaho BI Suite, the Pentaho Design Studio, and the Pentaho Report Design Wizard. This release is a continuation in our effort to streamline the component API, build in performance enhancements, and fix bugs in all of the projects.

The Pentaho development team has been putting extra effort into producing documentation requested by our community. Some examples of those efforts are the Pentaho Advanced Reporting Guide (the definitive guide to JFreeReport) and the Component Builder's Guide (the much-requested information on building custom components for the platform). Also, check back for the Dashboard Builder's Guide, coming very soon!
