Mondrian 2.1 released

We are pleased to announce the release 2.1 of the Mondrian OLAP Server.

Mondrian 2.1 includes several architectural changes. Pre-compiled MDX expressions allow the Mondrian server to optimize queries, choosing between evaluating an expression in memory or by pushing the query to the RDBMS.

Numerous enhancements to Mondrian's support for XML for Analysis (XML/A) make Mondrian accessible from a wider range of clients.
