Try running monarch_ajax.cgi from the command line. Also check the
apache error log. That should point you to the source of the problem.

I have been trying for a couple of days now to install Monarch 2.0.2 on
SLES9 server. Server meets all the prerequisites for Monarch,
monarch_setup.pl executes fine, with these parameters:=20

What is the host name of your MySQL database server? [localhost] :
<MYDBSERVER>=20
What is the name of the user that will have access to the database?
[root] : monarch=20
What is the password for user monarch to access the database [] :
<PASSWORD>=20
What is the name of the database you will use for your Monarch
installation? [monarch] : monarch=20
Enter web server's user account [wwwrun] : wwwrun=20
Enter web server's user group [www] : www=20
Please enter your web servier's relative path to cgi-bin. Example:
/nagios/cgi-bin [ /cgi-bin ] : /cgi/bin=20
What is your web server's document root [unknown] : /srv/www=20
Enter the full path of your cgi-bin directory [unknown] :
/srv/www/cgi-bin=20
Enter the full installation path for Monarch
[/usr/local/groundwork/monarch] : /usr/local/groundwork/monarch=20
Enter the full path to your nagios.cfg file [/usr/local/nagios/etc] :
/usr/local/nagios/etc=20
Enter the full path to your nagios binary file [/usr/local/nagios/bin] :

I choose to modify permissions and the setup finished with warning about
location of favicon.ico.=20

When I go to http://mywebserver/cgi-bin/monarch.cgi I get this:=20

Server error!=20

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your
request.=20

Error message:=20
Premature end of script headers: monarch_ajax.cgi=20

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster

Error 500=20

Can someone please give me some usefull pointers, where to start. I
checked for some of common causes, that I found on the Internet, but to
no avail.=20
