Hi there, I am trying to migrate my nagios configuration to monarch (which may be an easyer way to configure nagios), but I am facing to a big problem: I cannot setup a service more than once to a host. For example, I got a nagios plugin which checks the ifOperStatus of a router network interface defined as: command: command-interface: $USR1$/check_interface -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -C $ARG1$ -i $ARG2$ the service is defined: name: check-interface command: command-interface command-line: command-interface!community!interfacename interfacename is the snmp name of the interface, such as GigabitEthernet1/1, GigabitEthernet1/2 .... The trick is that I would like to attach the check-interface service to a host once with the «GigabitEthernet1/1» interface name, once with «GigabitEthernet1/2» as interface name... now I can only do this by befining a service for an interface name wich is quite a pain to do :-(. In the Manage Host/Services, once a service is add to a host, it is removed from the service available service list. It would be nice if a service could be added more than once :-). Hope I was clear :-) Thanks in advance. Regards -- Sebastien Gross |
