I just upgraded our old mon 0.99 server to the latest 1.2.0 version and all the imap monitors started failing. Error "bad response to login: NO Login failed." is being output on the "A1 LOGIN ANONYMOUS ANONYMOUS" command. Our servers do not allow ANONYMOUS, nor would we want them to. For now I have commended out the login check section, except for the "$ServerOK = 1;" line, and the errors go away. I realize that means it's not doing any login test, but that's fine as it should still at least be checking server response. Perhaps you should come up with a different approach that doesn't require ANONYMOUS, or provide proper documentation on how to create login information that's not ANONYMOUS and will work with the script.
