I have a problenm with the cookie settings. I think I could solve
these wioth cookie_path and or cookie_domain. But right now I do not
know how and the documentation dies not say too much about this topic.
I have an installation where the pages are served via /moin.py in each
wiki instance. I have written a rewrite so that my site at
wiki.pfennigsolutions.de is also usable without the moin.py.
The problem is that the cookies do not seem to be recognized if start
on wiki.pfennigsolutions.de . if I press "login" and /moin.py is in
the path the cookie recognizes the cookie and I am logged in without
What I want is to be also logged in via Cookie when starting without
What would I have to change in my config?

I found out myself.
Just add this to the config:
cookie_path =3D '/' . You have to logout first to set new cookies. To
check it out:
1. log out
2. log in
3. restart browser
4. go to wiki with root path wiki.yourwiki.org
should automatically log in if you did not configure to not autologin.
I now have a different problem. i can not log out any more!
If I log out I get a feedback that I have logged out. bu If i click in
the FrontPage link I am immediately logged in. I have deleted all
cookies, but problem is still there.
It looks like Moin does not look if somebody has logged out when
getting a cookie. I do not have this problem on the official wiki but
on all of my other wikis . This is quite disturbing. Whan can cause
such a problem? This should never happen, should it?
