I've download minimal Moebius 1.0.1 and try to install in my Raspberry Pi type B. For me has been imposible.
I've tried the following ways:
In Windows XP and 7. Two computers diferents.
Uncompress file image tar.gz with WinRar, and sent to SD card with the utility 'Win 32 Disk Imager 0.7'.
When I switched on the Raspberry Pi did nothing.
In Linux Red Hat
Uncompress file image tar.gz with the utiliz tar, and sent to SD card with the utility 'dd'
When I switched on the Raspberry Pi did nothing.
I've install Qemu in my Windows 7, and run the minimal Moebius 1.0.1
Was no problem. It's run perfectely.
The only problem it's to configure de net correctily, but it's other problem.
In my Raspberry Pi I've installed other images, like Wheezy, and it works perfectely.
Any idea about it? What can I try?
I have tried all that can I think, but it doesn't work in my Raspberry Pi.
Please, help!
Thanks!

I have just got a brand new ModelB card with Hynix RAM chip after getting more information from various web sites (even from http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=9524 and the official statement from the Foundation: http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/3534) and it seems there're few but important differences. I don't have budget or huge resources but I'm working on it right now to fix this bug. By the way I'd like to thank you for your trick

Thanks to the Anonymous (from 2013-03-23) for his/her tip.
It worked for me also although the place to paste the files isn't correct. They should be placed in the root of the boot partition (the one with 59MB) and replace the two files that already exist. Mentioning "/boot directory" misleads since there's a folder with that name ;)
Even so, i couldn't get the television to recognize the HDMI connection although the leds flickered for a while. In the end I had to CTRL+Alt+Del more than once to have it to boot.
My system is running fine now except for the keyboard layout that doesn't apply the Portuguese keys. No matter what i do i can't get i to work. I've ran raspi-config more than once, removed US-locale, checked '/etc/default/keyboard' and it looks well. Any insight would be appreciated.

What kind of Model B version do you have ? 256/512Mb ?
Same problem here. I have a Model B 512 MB Hynix RAM. It seems that it do not boot anything. The activity LED is doing nothing.
With reference to my former post, I found the solution to get Moebius 1.0.1 running on a Model B 512MB (Hynix).
I just have copied the following files from a working archlinux-hf-2013-02-11 installation from to /boot directory to the Moebius sd card:
Plug in the sd card into your RPi and have fun :)
