Hello All, Modules 4.8.0 is here with many new stuff included. This release is a major step forward with the introduction of 'module variants', the ability to pass arguments to evaluating modules (e.g., module load foo/2.1+debug toolchain=a). It is as usual backward-compatible with previous version 4 releases and primarily adds features and fixes bugs. Major new features introduced in v4.8.0 since v4.7 are: * Editing modulefiles * Using version range in version list * Try module load with no complain if not found * Module variants * Variant shortcuts Details on these features included in this new release are provided in the MIGRATING document.
