[Modules] hide some modules

Hi I would like to hide some modulefiles that are used to manage a 
packages internal dependencies. I want module avail to list only the top 
level files, and not report the other modulefiles in that directory 
because they are for dependencies referenced within the top level files 
(and sometimes with in dependencies). Is there a directive to mark a 
modulefile as invisble to the module avail command? What is the best way 
to achieve this?
