I've been maintaining a version that I've uploaded
to http://metalab.unc.edu/pub/linux/utils/shell/ named
modules-3.0.2-rko.tar.gz.  It has all the functionality that was promised
in the original documentation that I'm aware of.  It requires Tcl 8.0.x &
one of my tasks is to allow it to compile with Tcl > 8.0.  If you use Red
Hat 6.x  Linux then you need a patch (which will be in the 3.0.3 release).

I've uploaded this to {www|ftp}.modules.org, but, as usual, I've received
no response at all.
Maybe it's time to reassign the modules.org domain somewhere else and
let the modules work progress.
