The web-site, which is only half finished, looks like no-one changed anything since 1996, and the same goes for the program. 2.1 seems to be pretty much the last stable version, and this doesn't work properly with anything after Tcl/Tk 7.6/4.2 (as far as I remember). You just put this line into your .tcsh (.profile) and forget about it. Or you can say module add diction/0.6 requesting that specific release. This is done by putting files 0.5, 0.6, and 0.6.1 into the directory diction. This directory can also contain a file .version giving the default version to load (if you do not want to load the newest version --- highest lexicographically sorted modulefile --- by default).
