Modulefiles questions??

To whom it may concern,

I was recently trying to compile versions 2.0, 2.1, 2.4, and 3.0 of
modules.  Even the 3.0 version seems kind of old.  Is modules still
maintained?  If so, is there a version that can be compiled with gcc, and
not the standard cc for Solaris?  I have been having a great deal of
trouble with it.  It keeps choking on .h files in the /usr/include/sys
directory.  I would think that this part of the compile should be
seemless.  I don't want to edit these files.  We also have tcl7.6
compiled. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
