Current version of modules in source form

Hi everybody!


I have a few questions regarding the availability of modules:

(1) Who is currently maintaining the software?
(2) Which is the current version (I found 3.0BETA,
    which included no sources)
(3) Is the software still being distributed in source form?
(4) What Version of tcl does it run under (I tried 2.2BETA
    with tcl7.6 and tcl8.0, but got a strange segmentation fault.
    (linux 2.0.30, gcc 2.7.2.3, tcl7.6 / tcl8.0)
(5) Is there another, more up-to-date package, that people use now?
(6) Is there a FAQ for this mailing list (I have read all the docs
    I could get my hand on, which was not very much...)
