Modules on Digital Unix ?

I haven't seen any traffic on this list since I subscribed,
but here goes...

Have anybody ran modules on Digital Unix 4.0 machines?

I have the compiled the 3.0 beta 1 version I found at
http://www.modules.org/, but it seems rather flaky. Some
commands don't seem to work correctly or just dump core
while other features are missing. Before I start debugging
it myself, I was hoping that somebody would save me the
trouble.

Also, are there any good examples showing how to use the uname
option ? I haven't totally figured out what the various options
are to compared to the Unix command line options.
