Modules 3.0 released

Folks,

Will we ever see this "puppy" reach a released state?  

We are solid fans of the Modules concept and are currently using
Modules 2.2b in a production engineering design environment of almost
200 workstations.

I just checked the Germany Modules archive site and see 19 beta
versions of Modules 2.x and 1 version 3 pre-beta that has not been
updated since late August of 1996.

We want to take advantage of Modules fixes and enhancements.  Can the
developers (or someone who has the interest and time to take up the
task) bring Modules to a point of stability where it can be released?
