Next Version of Modules

Does anyone know when a new version of Modules might be released?
I've been playing with Modules 3.0 Beta, and I've found quite a few
problems.  I've fixed some, caused others, and tried to work around
what I didn't like.

However, lately I've been running up against some walls.  3.0 Beta
sometimes doesn't even do what the comments in the *code* say it
does.  Also, the error style is not friendly nor informative.  Since
I'm trying to release this to our whole engineering department, this
is not acceptable.

The only solution I see is to begin seriously re-working parts of the
code.  If there is development in progress, I would love to be part of
that and lend a hand where I can.  If development has stalled, I'd
like to be able to pick up the latest and greatest pre-Beta or
whatever and start working from that.  Either way, I'll release my
changes once I've got a fairly stable base.

If anyone has a problem with this, or a suggestion, I'd love to hear
about it now.  Soon I'll draw up a list of what I plan to change and
submit it to this list for comments.  If you want to suggest something
now, please e-mail me and let me know.
