modulefile permissions

We make extensive use of modulefiles in our environment and we're
currently looking for a way to permission certain modulefiles so that
they can be loaded/unloaded normally by all users, but we don't want
everyone to be able to change to the modulefiles directory and look at
the actual modulefiles.

I've tried some testing and it seems like only the read permission is
significant.  Is there some change I can make to the modules source to
allow me to set the execute bit only on the modulefile and still have it
load/unload?
