I think I'm not sure what the Author field is supposed to look like, 
actually - the
  http://www.xav.com/perl/site/lib/XML/PPD.html#author
and
  http://search.cpan.org/author/MURRAY/PPM-2.1.6/docs/ppd.pod
seem to have different ideas about how to represent the information.
