Hi,

In Kernel/LowLevel/makefile, what is the purpose of "-m elf_i386" in
the ldflags?
I find the compilation to produce a functional mk.img even without it.

Then I assume that you are running on a 32 bit machine.
When i would try to compile here on my laptop (64 bit) without that, it 
would result in many errors of incorrect file formats.

Yes actually, I am running on a 32-bit machine.
I got to it by trying to compile it under cygwin.
(It did not work, I am letting it be).
