[Modeling-users] Multiple failures observed when using new-style classes

        Hi all,

  While working at the dynamic creation of classes, I've just noticed
  that new-style classes are not well handled by the framework... which
  is a polite way of saying that they do not work at all.

The problem appears to be in the NotificationFramework, a key component
heavily used in the core. I'm currently investigating the issue.

  If the bug is confirmed, I'll immediately make a new release for the
  notification framework and will keep you informed here. I've also opened
  ticket #813562 for this purpose
