Hi several question included:
1) could we benefit from public repository ?
2) could you please update the Changelog file so that we can know what happened in the latest releases ?
3) what's the state of Apache patches:
Mainly: README says that httpd-2.2.12-liveprops.patch and httpd-2.2.12-repos.patch are not needed in "trunk/" but what tagged release it this ?
What about the other two patches in the latest 2.2.x series ? and in 2.4 ?
Could you please also link to Apache httpd bug reports or mailing-list threads about patch inclusion/rejection discussions ?
So far, Apache patches are the main issue to mainstream use of moddavacl (see gentoo bug #390443), and as a sad consequence, mod_caldav little use, while both are promising.
As a side question: why should we (kind of) duplicate the user database in order to provide principals ?
Can't Apache Auth DB be used directly as a source for principals (so that avoiding to keep in sync both mod_dav_acl and mod_auth DB ?)
thank you
