With this patch you'll be able compile for Apache v2.2

Copy apache22.diff into directory with
mod_auth_mysql.c and execute:

patch -p0 < apache22.txt

    No, this is not another dead project. However, Apache 2.2 has another mechanism for handing database authentication, so this one just isn't needed any more.

    And there haven't been requests for patches we felt had sufficient audience to implement. It's just not practical to implement a request which is only applicable to 2 or three people.
