This patch adds support for storing passwords using the
MySql's function password().2
You may use both "AuthMySQLMPasswords On" (old
deprecated way, but supported) or
"AuthMySQLPwEncryption mpassword" (mpassword is added
to the previous methods - none | crypt | scrambled |
md5 | aes | sha1).
This patch applies to the current 2.8.1 version on
SourceForge and is used in production.
