I have put together a OS X installer .pkg for "Panther" users. It is not pretty but it installs the *.so correctly. It doesn't alter the apache http.conf as i don't know how to script.
Can i give it to you and you can choose if you want it. I don't have a server to do it myself.
Drew
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
You might want to hold off for a couple of days; I'll be putting up Release 2.6.1 with a minor bug fix tomorrow (Monday). Nothing major - it just includes wf_detoler's patch for enabling/disabling the module. It should be available later in the afternoon (still need to check it a little).
You can send your module it to me at my sourceforge.net user ID, I can add make it available to the project (please let me know which version you used to create the package).
Unfortunately, I'm not at all familiar with OS X, so I don't know if there is some special download/install support which requires something special on the server. But if there is, someone else may be interested in posting the package on another server now that you have the hard work done.
Thanks again,
Jerry
