I wouldn't know. Nothing was changed in that area. I've had "intermittent" problems with graphs at various points, and I suspect the graphing library. But there are no errors reported by it so I am at loss to explain the issue. It's likely that we'll replace it with something else. See my questions below: BTW, if you stop the console and delete the RRD files the graphs may restart. Hello all, ModSecurity 2.5.3 was released today with Core Rules 1.6.1. ModSecurity fixes a few minor issues, however the Core Rules fixed a number of issues which may miss detection. Please consider the upgrade to Core Rules 1.6.1 a required upgrade if you are currently running 1.6.0. While you should keep up-to-date with ModSecurity releases, 2.5.3 is not required unless you are running into the issues that have been fixed. 24 Apr 2008 - 2.5.3 ------------------- * Fixed issue where the exec action may not be able to execute shell scripts. * Macros are now expanded in expirevar and deprecatevar. * Fixed crash if a persistent variable name was more than 126 characters. * Updated included Core Ruleset to version 1.6.1 which fixes some false negative issues in the migration to using some 2.5 features. Additionally, the ModSecurity Console v1.0.4 was released to fix a minor issue when upgrading from the 1.0.2 version. Packages can be downloaded from modsecurity.org as always. -B -- Brian Rectanus Breach Security |

Hi, all. I recently installed ModSecurity Console 1.0.3 on my server running modsecurity-1.9.4. The graphs have no data in them. If I run Console version 1.0.2 (I renamed the install directory before installing 1.0.3), though, I see data. What am I missing here? Thanks. If you've successfully entered the licence into the textarea field and submitted the form, then the licence has been validated and accepted. But you also need to reload configuration in order for the licence to be applied. There should be a message on top of the page asking you to do this. Hi, I'm having some trouble with the licence on my console installation (1.0.3). I've downloaded a community licence, but the console does not seem to accept it. The box with "The licence key is missing, invalid, or expired. Please configure a valid licence key <javascript:configureLicence()> to unlock the full functionality." is still displayed, and mlogc reports the same: [Fri Apr 25 12:35:46 2008] [4] [667660/20087080] Request returned with status "5 00 Invalid, missing, or expired licence.": ImL7CAoYcIYABnCEh3YAAAAG Any ideas? -Terje |
