[mod-security-users] ModSecurity and Envoy

Hi,

Is anyone on this mailing list currently using ModSecurity on Envoy? I'm
currently running Istio/Kubernetes and the defalut Ingress gateway is
Envoy. I could change it to something like nginx but that would result in
losing some of Istio's functionality.

If so, what was your impression compared to the more traditional
ModSecurity/Apache or ModSecurity/nginx? Was the performance comparable?
Are the instructions here - https://github.com/octarinesec/ModSecurity-envoy -
still applicable for newer versions of Envoy?
