Hello All, I'm attempting to run the console (ver 1.0.5) on a server running Windows Server 2008 64-bit. In order to get the product to install I had to use a 32-bit version of JRE (6, update 20). Any attempt to use a 64-bit version during the install reported a broken jvm.dll. Using 32-bit Java, the product installs, but when I start the service I get "Windows could not start the modsecurity-console service on <server-name>. Error 1: Incorrect function." Is this a result of using 32-bit java on a 64-bit OS or does the console not play well with 64-bit WIndows OS's? I've only found one hit on the google from 2007 when searching for this issue and unfortunately it was not answered. Can anyone please shed some light on this? TIA... |
