Hi - I've been searching the documentation, archived mailing lists, but have come to a dead end! Is there any way to emulate the behaviour of the MODSEC_ENABLE environment variable is previous versions of mod_security? We have virtual hosts based on mod_rewrite rules, and I need to be able to be able to enable or disable mod_security based on an entry we have in a DBM file, and the easiest way that I can see is to set an environment variable, for example MODSEC_DISABLE, in the rewrite rules with the following mod_security pseudo-config: SecRule MODSEC_DISABLE "1" phase:1,pass,nolog,t:none,ctl:ruleEngine=Off to switch off mod_security. Is there anyway to lookup an environment variable like my pseudo-config above? Charlie Rusbridger. |
