Outbound filtering

[Caplan, Michael]

Turns out I’m not as much of a dough head as I originally thought.  It appears that mod_rewrite is interfering with all modsecurity outbound rules.  My initial tests vs. my most recent tests did not involve mod_rewrite.  It seems the following mod_rewrite recipe (which I can’t do away with), is somehow undermining modsecurity’s ability to do outbound filtering:

<vhost xxx>

<Directory xxx>

            RewriteEngine on

            RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-f

            RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-d

            RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1

I’ve search the list archive for solutions, but came up empty handed.  Any ideas?
