[Mod-pubsub-developer] Exactly once delivery even after client restart

Hi,
   Is it possible for the pubsub server to detect that a subscription is 
from an earlier client, and then not resend earlier messages. My client does 
not want a replay of messages it had already received before crashing 
(without unsubscribing). Is this related to the 'journal' concept ? If so 
could someone please give an example or something as the documentation is a 
bit confusing on this point.
