Okay nevermind. I couldn't give up so I found actual well-written documentation on SourceForge - even /I/ could follow it. I was using an older SSH client that wasn't doing much for me. I already had an RSA public key uploaded to SourceForge (from my 'Destiny' project) - I just forgot about it.
