#15 How is the module usable in the context of broken clients?

No

I have read about some problems about the
compression handling by browsers in the
document "http://www.schroepl.net/projekte/mod_gzip/
browser.htm".
I wonder if the modules "gzip" or "deflate" can be used
in this context. How much work and configuration must
be done to work around the known errors?

I have found a similar request in the mailing
    list "http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=apache-httpd-users-
    de&m=105275107501849&w=2".

It depends on your definition of "client", "broken" and
    "usable".

The known problems are the easy ones (you just use the
documented solutions resp. workarounds). But you can't be
sure that no new broken clients will appear and cause new
    problems.
