#1 not fuctioning

Having a little bit of troube getting mod_auth_shadow
working.

I'm using 1.3.28 on a recently reinstalled box
(slackware 9.1).

It used to work fine, but now the directories that I
specify just show up without any username/password
promt. It's like the modules aren't being loaded or
something.

Everything seems to be working properly, and I'm not
geting any errors in the apache logs. Could someone
give me a few troubleshooting tips with this peice of
software?

Any help would be appriciated. Thanks.
