I want to convert at least the core files. So I think I will upload this 
weekend for the first time :-) but it certainly not compile..

There are some java related questions:  

- a "synchronized" method is a threadsafe method and provides some form of 
mutual exclusion?

- Verfier.java contains some parameters of type "Field". What does this mean 
and how could one solve this with c++?

I guess there will be more when I really start to make it work.
