I don't know what covariance and contravariance are but after reading their
introduction paper, I really want to try it. I may even try it on Cactus
real soon to see how it goes. There is even an Ant task to help for the
build (not that it changes much). Also, if you read their paper, you'll find
a screenshot of their IDE extension. They have plugins for JBuilder 4/5 and
Netbeans.

The concept is great. It seems very easy and great for unit
testing/debugging. For other things, it looks a bit more complex but
probably simply requires training.
