A new subproject of GUMP uses GUMP technology to port Java bytecode generated from Java 5, 6 or 7 sourcecode into a format capable of execution on a CLDC VM (and so is usable on MIDP devices).

The complete Alpha framework is now in SourceForge, hopefully organized so that it builds on other people's computers as well as mine! This is an initial upload, so expect some teething problems.

Also uploaded is a variety of gumplets and the associated porting library... at least enough to demonstrate various different applications of GUMP.
