MNXJ roadmap

Been awhile and no bug reports so far on the 0.8.6 release. Nice to see it working :)

What holds the future for MNXJ then? Well...

We are working on porting the last NWNX2 version and functionality to Linux and when that is done MNXJ will be updated and hopefully reach version 1.0

The goal is that 1.0 will include real time NWN object manipulation and inserts.

Documentation updated

MNXJ 0.8.6 released. This is mostly a documentation update release.

With the release of MNX plugin for Windows I needed to update the MNXJ documentation.

MNXJ now available for Windows servers

People have been asking me about MNX and if there is a Windows version. Until now there has only been a Linux version, but I just released a Windows port of the MNX plugin. This means that both the Linux aswell as the Windows version of NWNX are able to talk to MNXJ.

Try it out and gimme a shout if there is anything that needs to be tweaked.

MNX plugin for Windows is released under GPL and available here for download.

MNXJ 0.8.3 released

MNXJ is a free library for the Java(tm) platform (JDK 1.4.2 or later) and is providing an API for the BioWare game NWN, Neverwinter Nights

0.8.3 includes documentation, commented source code , a working proof of concept mod and API demo.

I would love to get some feedback on this release.

Update around the corner

The holidays and workload when returning from it has been stalling my work on MNXJ, but it seems I will have documentation and more "get started" stuff available for download next week and a complete update following shortly after that.

MNXJ is here

Version 0.8.0 makes it to sf.net!

It is a working release, with demo application and game server simulation. There is still documentation and testing to be done though.

If there is any start up questions and/or bug issues I am glad to help out through mail at this time.
