Heh. Well... we did decide on a language. C. but then I looked at the best way to implement all the 'stuff' in MnOS. I thought C++ would be better. I was wrong :) > > I'll let you all know when there is something to play with :) > > Okay. I'm here to play with the gui, so just tell me when you want ideas > or code. Ok. I still have a little way to go before I get to the GUI, I'll let you know. oh.. and btw: Thanks :) -- Thomas Fjellstrom tfj...@ho... http://strangesoft.net |

For something like this, I would have imagined C++ to be more appropriate, but C will go surprisingly far. Just a couple minutes ago I added constructors and destructors to a C program of mine. Heh. > I'll let you all know when there is something to play with :) Okay. I'm here to play with the gui, so just tell me when you want ideas or code. -- Andy Goth | unu...@op... | http://sevatech.com/~andy/ |

I got Enlisted by the leader of the project (Ricardo) to do the enitial coding, and whatnot... But at least you've seen me on the allegro mailing lists/allegro.cc now and then eh? > > And how can you or how would you like help with the project? > > Drum up interest? I haven't seen any yet. :) Yes. The coding was going slow there for a while... I 'hope' to have something useable, you know, just something to play around with, in the next week or so... I was originally designing MnOS in C++ but it was taking far too long and I was geting nothing real done, so I switched to C. Now I have a good base to start with, and the coding is now going smoothly. I'll let you all know when there is something to play with :) -- Thomas Fjellstrom tfj...@ho... http://strangesoft.net |
