Bugs item #851137, was opened at 2003-11-29 13:12 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=436453&aid=851137&group_id=43482 Category: Network / EGTP Group: v0.6.2 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 9 Submitted By: Zooko O'Whielacronx (zooko) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: mojobootpage loading rarely works Initial Comment: There's some bug in the way we load bootpages, perhaps due to interaction between the DoQ thread and some asyncore thread or other. The symptoms are that most attempts to load a bootpage fail even though the bootpage is up. One possible solution would be to do away with bootpages! People can copy MT phonebookdicts around instead of bootpage URLs. Binary distros can come with a bunch of MT phonebokdicts preloaded. It would probably be better for the imminent stable release to just fix the bootpageloader though... I'm assigning this a priority of only 6 because I think Mnet works anyway, as long as you are patient and keep trying for 10 minutes. Okay, that's pretty bad. Raising the priority to 9. Note: I'm not assigning this to myself! Come and get it you hackers! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=436453&aid=851137&group_id=43482 |
