#62 Possibly add control of number of threads/tasks at once

Hello;

Just a possible suggestions. I have seen some NICs not
like all the tasks/threads that seem to be sent when
one checks an account with a large amount of messages.
Would it be possible to have a configurations option
to limit the number of threads/tasks that are in
operation at any one time? Thanks
