Many newer notebooks have a LED to indicate if there's
mail, or not. The supplied software to check a POP3
box for mails and turn on or off the LED, mostly only
support one single POP3-box.

Perhaps you guys can figure out how to play around
with this LED?

I own two notebooks with such a LED:
-Acer TravelMate alpha-550
-Fujitsu-Siemens AMILO D

I also own notebook (Acer TravelMate 620) with email LED
and it would be great if mmm3 can use it to notify.
I found driver for Linux which works well so maybe you can
look on it's source and find out how to operate that LED under
    windows.

I don't have a notebook, but I have LEDs too.
Maybe make ScrollLock LED blink for news messages ?

    Thank You.
