A graphical application which does not react on mouse key events is a
bit confusing. "Monkey test method" shows that it is possible to make
editing to an empty mind map by keyboard. Of course, I could read the
code to learn necessary commands but it feels like a large overkill to
do so just for evaluation. It would be enough with a simple cheat sheet.
I really like minimalistic applications but in this case you are going
too far.
So, a cheat sheet, please!

I have a similar problem with mouse events.
I'm on 64 Linux - Kubuntu with KDE 4.8.5.
I installed the Mind Map Architect from deb package (3.4, I've not found version 4.0 for 64b).
After starting the app mouse does not work. I can just use keyboard commands. But I'm not sure whether all of them are working.

I'm running on Windows 7 and can't get past creating a new project. I see a new tab containing a Main Idea element, but am not able to edit the element or add new ones.

I prepare simple page with short keys and mouse commands on project webpages: http://mmarchitect.zeropage.cz/userguide.html. Mouse Drag & Drop, content menu and so on is not supported yet, but will be.

I'm not sure what about you write with "does not react on mouse key events".
And what about simple cheat sheet, yes, my next work for mmarchitect is some user help with key commands and some base using of application.
Thanks for your post.
