#14 error messages decoding MPEG2

After decoding happily for a few seconds (about 5% of thermometer, I receive the following error messages with different movies. They all play find with Quicktime, however. Usually, there are two identical dialogs with the error codes not shown (no parameters passed?) and the second idential dialog which offers the additional "exit" button.
In every case, if I hit continue, the program will continue decoding.

1) invalid motion_vector_code (MBA %d, pic %d)

3) DCT coeff index (i) out of bounds (inter)
