Hi, From: Boruch Baum <bor...@ya...> Subject: [Mlterm-dev-en] bug-report: xcore not being used by default, or even when specified Date: Wed, 16 Nov 2011 13:35:02 -0800 (PST) Message-ID: <132...@we...> > Earlier today, I installed your app from the Debian repository, and got it to properly display Hebrew character in bidi. I wanted to bring to your attention that the man page indicates that the default font rendering engine is xcore; However, when I invoked mlterm from a bash shell, mlterm would start in xft. I would have to use mlconfig to deselect xft. I think Debian package applies a patch to change the default value of "type_engine" option from "xcore" to "xft", so I wonder if the patch causes this problem. It is maybe possible to avoid this problem by removing (or renaming) /usr/lib/mlterm/libtype_xft.so file. If /usr/lib/mlterm/libtype_xft.so is not found, mlterm uses xcore fonts forcibly.
