[Mlterm-dev-en] mlterm under Xgl: open_screen_intern() failed

Hi,

I'm running Ubuntu Dapper (i386) with more or less the latest updates.
Mlterm usually works great, but when I recently gave Xgl a try
(because of the recent Compiz release) I found that mlterm won't start
up, giving the following error: open_screen_intern() failed. If I
switch back to the usual xorg server, everything is fine.

Can anyone give me pointers on how to figure out what's going on and
address this problem? Thanks,
