i experimented some more... if i use antialiased mode ( -A ), then i can specify this in ~/.mlterm/aafont: ISO10646_UCS4_1_BIWIDTH=Kochi Gothic-iso10646-1; and then it displays japanese symbols perfectly.. the problem is: i don't want to use antialiased fonts, because they're a lot slower, and also because my favourite font is not an antialiased one. so i tried to add something to ~/.mlterm/font, but with no luck: ISO10646_UCS4_1_BIWIDTH= -misc-kochi mincho-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0- c-0-iso10646-; i cut&pasted this from a fonts.dir file ... problem is i have no idea how these files work ;) can mlterm use the xft/fontconfig based fonts? and do i need to use alias mode to use them? gabor -- gabor <ga...@z1...> |
