Hmm...
Such a problem has never happened in my environment and never been
reported by others.
Will you show me your ~/.mlterm/main, ~/.mlterm/font, ~/.mlterm/aafont and OS?
Does it happen if you rename ~/.mlterm to something else and start mlterm
by default?
