In my environment(XFree86 4.2.99.3), the call of XOpenIM seems to succeed with XMODIFIERS=@im=none under en_US.UTF_8 and input context can be created. However, if I remember correctly, the call may have failed some months ago. What version of XFree86 are you using? regards, minami |
