[Mlterm-dev-en] fonts

Hi,
This problem may not be very related but I can't
install the arabic fonts and hence run mlterm.

I have got these fonts and put them into ~/fonts/
directory:
10x20.bdf
10x20.pcf

I ran 'mkfontdir' command with no problem but when I
run 'xset fp+ ~/fonts/' I get the following error:
xset:  bad font path element (#37), possible causes are:
    Directory does not exist or has wrong permissions
    Directory missing fonts.dir
    Incorrect font server address or syntax

Do you know what the problem might be?

Without the arabic font I get the following error
when running mlterm:
mlterm -E utf8 -w 20
a font for displaying us ascii chars is not found.
